Natural Perfume Academy Business Reg

The Natural Perfume Academy uses an advanced online learning platform and is run by a qualified technician and system administrator offering consistent support to students. The tutors are Justine Crane and Shelly Waddington. The Natural Perfume Academy integrate mentor support, classroom discussions, live chat, and video into our learning environment.

What this means is that The Natural Perfume Academy is now a Legally Trading Entity. We are due to launch our year long course in May 2010 and places are filling up fast. The Scented DjinnJustine Crane, botanical perfumer, perfumery teacher and owner of The Scented Djinn has had rave reviews on three of her hand-crafted, all natural perfumes by the Scent Hive. The three perfumes reviewed were Oshiba, Ianthe, and Khamsa eau Fraiche.

Justine is an extraordinary perfumer with natural talent. She is understated and humble about it, and just lets her work speak for itself. Nature's Nexus has a special connection with her and is very proud because she teaches a perfume class on Nature's Nexus Academy of Perfuming Arts.

Smelling

Our olfactory system is a highly complex system that most people take for granted. The modern world is overloaded with strong chemical smells, the effects of which are more than just to mask unpleasant as well as pleasant natural odors.

Substances in synthetic perfumes such as Toulene and many synthetic musks cause permanent damage to the nerve endings of the human olfactory system. Almost all popular modern perfumes and household laundry detergents and air fresheners contain synthetic musks. Modern 'pop' perfumes are designed to get into the air and up peoples noses. It’s not an intimate thing, it’s something other people have to experience whether they like it or not. It is noticeable that people who use these synthetic perfumes to excess in their homes and on their bodies are less sensitive to natural smells in general and they will often apply and reapply a perfume, using far beyond what is a reasonable or safe amount.
