I love that site:). I have 2 of those Gosnell's I'm willing to sell/trade if anyone's interested...
Photos upon request. Is there any way to post photos to this forum??
Because they are so old, the original labels are gone, but what I did was recreate the labels and put them on their corresponding bottles (so it's
clear the labels are not original). They of course both have the raised John Gosnell on the bottles and are of the precise shapes and sizes. You can
see that they were also hand blown, pressed glass wasn't made very well til around 1920s, and these are from around 1901. No damage whatsoever on
either.
I'm trying to confine myself to a few perfume houses rather than the all over the place collection I have right now. I've got over 1000 bottles,
waaayyy too many and scattered eras, types, etc.
My main focus now is Dior, Coty, Lucien Lelong, Chanel (have them all already), Nina Ricci, Guerlain, Rochas.

Hi,
I absolutely love that Tortoiseshell Casket !! WoW !! And the
Persian Otto !! Just amazing ,what a collection !! On an interesting
note on the solidified Brilliantine you show , there is a small town just
North of Atlanta, Ga where there was a Brilliantine mine that was in
operation for many years , and the man who owned it and operated it
became immensely wealthy selling to the cosmetic industry !! To this
day his family is still very wealthy and are very influential in the town
politics and businesses !!
